Background

ELITE Marine Services was formed in 2006 by Lee Daniel, a former manufacturing engineer at Sealine International. Lee’s vision was to provide passionate boaters all over the country with a reliable, honest boat repair and maintenance service and to help people enhance their boating experience. Rather than being restricted to one place Lee saw mobile servicing units as the perfect way to offer all boaters quality aftercare regardless of their location.

Having spent over 14 years in the boating industry himself, starting his career as a trainee electrican and working his way up, Lee possesses the perfect balance of hand’s on knowledge and practical boating experience. The team at ELITE are all manufacturing engineers by trade and share Lee’s vision. Their passion is obvious from the moment you meet them, and after all - who knows your boat better than the guys that made them?

Having been involved with a manufacturer, and particularly at a dealer interface level, gives the team the benefit of understanding the issues dealers face in the industry and common concerns customers experience when buying a boat.

In 2007 ELITE Marine Services set up a permanent base at Tewkesbury Marina, offering berth holders and visitors an on-site servicing facility, however Lee was keen to retain the original principles of the business, that quality marine aftercare at best value prices should be available to all, and therefore the mobile servicing units continue to travel throughout the country from the Tewkesbury base to take care of boats all year round.
