Yamaha Engine Servicing

Yamaha engines must be serviced by an authorised service centre – failure to adhere to the service intervals outlined by Yamaha could invalidate the warranty of your engine.

The current service intervals are as follows:

  • First Service - 10 hours
  • Then - initial 50 hours or 3 months (whichever is soonest)
  • Thereafter - every 100 hours or 6 months (whichever is soonest)
  • And - every 200 hours or 12 months (whichever is soonest)

The frequency of maintenance operations may be adjusted according to the operating conditions. If you are operating your engine in salt water, turbid or muddy water, the engine should be flushed with clean water after each use.
